She’s Astute

This mare is in foal to Honours List, the most precocious son of Danehill, whose oldest progeny are 2 year olds. Her service date is 21st December 2005.

She has been to stud once prior and has produced a big, strapping Honours List colt born on 13th October 2005.

Her sire, Canny Lad, is recognised as one of the leading broodmare sires in Australia. Her mating with Honours List is designed to take advantage of the Star Kingdom- Danzig cross that is proving to be an outstanding success.

As a race mare, She’s Astute had nine starts for 2 second placings. Her mother, the Yallah Native mare, Perfect Dancer, won five races and is the dam of eleven named foals, nine to race, eight winners.

Cherete

This mare is in foal to Honours List, the most precocious son of Danehill, whose oldest progeny are 2 year olds. Her service date is 21st September 2005.

She is a grand producer. She is the dam of four named foals, all winners, including Pink ‘n’ Black (3 wins) and Ceanmohr (4 wins) as well as Your Kiss and Oxborough Princess with one win each. Her Thunder Gulch colt born in 2003 is racing in Macau and she has produced an extremely well grown Honours List filly born on 6th August 2005.

Her sire, Centro, the VATC Caulfield Guineas (G1) winner is recognised as one of the country’s leading broodmare sires. She is by the unraced Grosvenor mare My Real Charmer who is a sister to the VATC Derby (G1) winner Omnicorp.

As a race mare Cherete had only eight starts with 2 wins and 2 seconds. Her wins included the SAJC Brave Show Handicap.

Dawn Queen

This mare is in foal to Honours List, the most precocious son of Danehill, whose oldest progeny are 2 year olds. Her service date is 29th September 2005.

She has been a great producer and her progeny will soon prove her worth as a broodmare.She is the dam of four named foals, two to race with Highly Elated winning two races. Her Danehill Dancer three year old filly, Amarach, is unraced but currently in work in Sydney with John O’Shea. Her two year old filly, Queen’s List, is also unraced but currently in work in Toowoomba with Michael Nolan. Her 2005 foal by Honours List is a big, strong filly born on 11 August.

Her sire, Centro, the VATC Caulfield Guineas (G1) winner is recognised as one of the country’s leading broodmare sires. She is a half sister to two group winners in Beat the Fade who won the AJC Emancipation Stakes (G2) and finished second in the STC Coolmore Classic (G1) as well as Dawn Till Dusk who won the WRC Cuddle S.H. (G3).

Dawn Queen was unraced.

Hula Mistress

This mare is in foal to Irish Royal, the well bred son of Danehill. Her service date is 19th November 2005.

As the dam of four named foals she has produced two to race and both are winners. Her son, the handy Black Hula, won on 4 occasions and Englobo was successful at Eagle Farm. Both these winners were sired by Telesto and she has a beautiful, black filly weanling by the same sire born on 14th August 2005.

As a race mare, Hula Mistress had twenty starts for 5 wins and 10 placings. She was successful in the QTC Scomeld Handicap.
